Solar at Kalahari Plains
In March 2010 Emergent Energy was involved in the design and commissioning of a 15kW solar PV battery and diesel hybrid system, operating in tandem with a diesel generator. The system was installed at the Kalahari Plains camp in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, in an area with limited grid access.
