Timberlea Wine


During 2011 Emergent Energy conducted an extensive energy audit of the winemaking facilities at Timberlea farm in Stellenbosch. The audit included the analysis of energy use practices, and their alignment with Eskom’s tariff structures.

 

Through simple interventions, including the introduction of timing systems on refrigeration equipment, Emergent Energy was able to reduce the monthly energy bills of the facility by approximately 25%.
