Learning from the Leaders
Frank Spencer, the CEO of Emergent Energy, was recently selected by the South African Wind Energy Association (SAWEA) to join a 4-day business delegation tour of the Danish wind energy sector. The tour will take place in the days leading up to the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA) conference in Copenhagen in 2012. The delegation is supported by the Danish Trade Council, the Danish Wind Industry Association and the Danish Embassy, and will focus on fact-finding and networking with Danish companies and investment opportunities in Denmark.
As outlined by SAWEA: “The delegation will be split up in to three technology areas during the 4-day tour around Denmark. The event is a unique way to experience the Danish supply chain first hand. The purpose of the visits is to learn more about why Denmark throughout the last 30 years has been world leader within wind power.”
